Rider's and Passenger's Responsibility and Duties

Rider's Responsibility and Duties

If a rider is riding Solo he should relay the Road Captains signals, and point out all road hazards to riders behind him or her. It is the Rider's responsibility to stay alert, Drug and Alcohol free, and to keep his equipment in good operable condition with regular pre-trip and post-trip checks.

Passenger's Responsibility and Duties>

When a rider has a passenger it is only logical that he keeps his eyes on the road and his attention to his driving. The passenger should take on the responsibility of relaying the Road Captain's signals and pointing out hazards to the riders behind them.

(When riding as a passenger on a motorcycle, do not lean with the rider in curves and turns. The passenger should sit straight up and not attempt to help control the lean of the bike. Let your rider completely control the amount the motorcycle leans.)
